The new face of dog fighting is different. Yob culture was in need of a weapon that they couldn't be arrested for as a matter of course, no blade to find. The 'status' dog had arrived. Ah, but they don't want a nice little Staffie who only wants to chase squeaky toys, but if they are stealing them how can they know what they are like, and what are they going to do with the rejects? Two choices spring to mind, dump them or tape their mouths up and use them as bait to train the other dogs to kill. There is no way I can say; now there's a nice thought for someone who has 'lost' their beloved dog. You see it's not really a close your mind to it subject. It does sadly, involve potentially all of us. Ignoring it won't make it go away will it? I wish it would.
