There has been so much controversy on this subject. Some experts say that you should not give your dog a bone as it can cause dangerous and painful results. Others claim that it is normal to give a dog a bone, as this is a natural thing for dogs to chew on bones.

The truth is there are no vitamins that are found in bones. Bones do have calcium and phosphorus, which are good for health; but most moist dog foods have calcium and phosphorus in them, so it's not a requirement for your dog to chew on them.
